Money in the Bank

Dolph Ziggler, Finlay, Matt Hardy, Tyson Kidd (SmackDown)
Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger (RAW)
The Hurricane (ECW)

No idea who I'd stick on the ECW Title match. Maybe do the pre-show battle royal to determine a challenger. I am sure there will be a women's match of some form, but I don't care enough to figure it out.

I've left out Batista, his name being the only one that stands out. If he's healthy, of course he'll be on the card. Money in the Bank could've included any number of other guys (R-Truth, Legacy, Carlito, Shelton Benjamin, Mike Knox, etc.) but I like my combination of guys. You have experience in Finlay and Matt Hardy. Excitement with Kofi, Bourne, and Hurricane. Power with Swagger. Dick moves with Ziggler. And the darkhorse in Kidd.

Taker/Cena is going to happen at some point, is this the year they pull the trigger? He's the only top-tier that hasn't had a crack at "the streak" yet...so do they do that, or do they pull a rematch out of the bag with Kane, Triple H, Randy Orton? Do they keep him paired off with Punk and run another title vs. streak match?

MVP vs. Orton should've been a shoe-in months ago, when MVP was drafted to RAW, but they've buried him pretty hardcore. I'd peg MVP to win the Rumble, really giving him a boost heading into Mania. Punk/Rey strikes me as potentially weak (in terms of selling Mania; the match would be damn good), but it should work as one of the lower-card main events.

This is supposedly being pegged as Shawn's last match, whether that happens or not, who knows. But a lot of people tout Morrison as "the next HBK" and I suspect HBK will be looking to put someone over in a major way in his final match, so I think Morrison is a natural fit.

Edge and Christian vs. Jericho and Big Show should write itself, as long as Edge is healthy in time. Jeri-Show should continue to dominate. After dropping the ECW title, Christian should go after the tag belts, using various partners (Tommy Dreamer at first, then maybe selecting somebody else from another show), but coming up short in all attempts. Christian has one last rabbit in his hat: Edge. Back from injury, he wants his tag title back that he never lost, and retribution against his ex-partner that left him hung out to dry at the first sign of trouble.

And, I mean, c'mon...we've been ready for an E&C reunion ever since Christian returned. This is perfect. It writes itself!

The Miz and Triple H? Well...it'll never happen, because Trips'll give himself a title match of some form. But this would give him something to do that ISN'T a title match, nor is it an undercard "nothing" match. Hell, make it for #1 contendership (been a long time since they actually did one of those, eh?). Plus, who couldn't get down with The Miz making fun of Triple H and his nose?
