The Vicodin Villain, The Heel's Heel
Not much is up with me, The Heel's Heel. Well, other than having a kidney stone, but that's all taken care of now and I'm better...well, better, in terms of that. But now I have a cold. Work is aight, I actually enjoy it pretty well. School, on the other hand, sucks pretty bad. I just don't fuckin' like it, and I haven't for years.
11 weeks and I'm done forever.
I'm exhausted and ought to be in bed, but I'm not. I don't know why. I'm tired, sore, bored, annoyed, and I even took a Vicodin which oughta knock me out, but hasn't really.
Upcoming shit includes:
Oct. 1 - 35th anniversary of the Science Center of Iowa, which means my ass will be busy that day.
Oct. 15 - WrestleMania 22 tickets go on sale.
Oct. 16 - Motley Crue concert in Iowa City, Iowa.
Nov. 2 - I think it's 11/2, but I heard that Bon Jovi has a tour that's beginning in Des Moines...I might consider hitting that up.
Dec. ## - Fall semester ends (not sure of the date) and I'll be done with school forever!
Mar. 30-Apr. 3 - Approximate dates again, but I know April 2 is WrestleMania 22 in Chicago, and that weekend should be amazing. The SW Kliq (Greg, Dan, and Pat) are going. My uncle, my friend Walt from Baltimore, and I are going (hopefully). And I got a couple friends, Dee and Marina, who live in Chicago. And we're all gonna chill, have a good time, see some good wrestling, and get drunk.
Summer '06 - Start looking for a "real" job. This could prove to be difficult, seeing as how I still haven't gotten my resume reel and corporate video DVDs back from my professor. I'd kind of like to smack the shit out of him.
Spring '08 - I believe this is right, unless of course, he signs up for additional years...but this is when Jeff will be done serving in the Navy. w00t w00t!
I haven't been doing much lately. My last entry discussed my little trip to Chicago to help Marci move to Des Moines. A couple days after that, my urine was discolored and I got worried, but then it went back to normal. And then a week later, I woke up in pain on a Sunday morning, and went to the ER. That's when I found out about the kidney stone.
I didn't pass it (they gave me a week and a half to try), so I had surgery on Thursday, Sept. 8. They sent 2,000 individual shockwaves into my back, pinpointed on the stone, and crumbled it up. I spent the next couple of days passing the chunks and playing the game How Many Different Colors Can I Pee? The final tally was six. Hahahahaha.
Bought some CDs recently: Late Registration by Kanye West, Mutant Vol. 2 by Twiztid, Furious by the Soopa Villainz, and Nirvana by Nirvana. I need a better stereo, though, because I need to get some play outta these albums. Kanye's CD is aight, I love the Twiztid and SV albums...but haven't listened to either CD (I have downloaded copies as well, which is where all my spins come from - Winamp and my iPod). And the Nirvana album chills in my bedroom stereo, which I typically play every night as I fall asleep.
It's weird, I never liked Nirvana before. Then I got hooked on it while driving back from Chicago, because it was one of the discs in Tim's CD player. So I went out and bought the CD.
I got paid a couple days ago, Sept. 15. I made $350-$400, something in that range. My checking account totals about $2,300. Which is sweet. I've stayed late at work a total of 4 hours this week (2 hours on Wed. and 2 hours Fri.), attempting to make up for the couple of days I missed due to my stone. My upcoming check will be kinda weak, so any lil extra time I can get in, I'll get it.
I love Vicodin. 8o)
I'm done rambling...I thought maybe I'd develop a point somehow, but didn't. So peace out, bitches, I gotta work in like 12 hours anyway.
